From working with families and tips for an effective intake process to staff training and strategies on dealing with challenging behaviors, attendees will leave with the tools and confidence to reduce (or even better, ELIMINATE) suspension practices within your camp programs.

The 60-minute video will conclude with a demonstration of the difference between a meltdown and a tantrum and approaches to dealing with each situation, yielding a more successful outcome for the child and recreation staff.
